    Founder, VE Medical

Vicky is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Advisor and expert medical accountant with a special interest in GP Locums.

After several years working at one of the UK's largest medical accountancy firms, Vicky yearned to provide a more personal, responsive and complete service to clients. Taking her experience and knowledge of the industry and mixing it with a whole heap of passion and enthusiasm, VE Medical was born!

Vicky initially started her career in personal tax with KPMG after gaining a 1st Class Honours degree in Accounting and Financial Analysis at the University of Newcastle.

After over 5 years with KPMG and a round the world travelling stint, Vicky left the profession to explore her entrepreneurial ambitions, developing and launching a drinks product that was distributed throughout the UK and on board airlines. This valuable experience in running her own business provides her with a unique understanding of the critical role external advisors have in adding value and enabling business owners to concentrate on the hectic day-to-day work load. GP Locums are small businesses in themselves and dealing with the money is often seen as the trickiest part, yet one that can be easily taken care of with the right choice of accountant.

Vicky has won a number of awards including being named one of Insider Yorkshire’s 42 under 42, an Insider Yorkshire Innovation Award and was named one of Smarta’s Top 100 Young Entrepreneurs to watch.

When she’s not working, Vicky enjoys spending time with her husband and twins and loves all things food (the spicier the better) and travel.

"Vicky is extremely knowledgeable about tax and pensions as it applies to NHS workers. This is a constantly evolving and complex area but she is always up to date on any new legislation. In addition, she is very approachable, always able to explain things in a digestible fashion and very prompt to answer any queries I send her way."

    Dr. A. Shah

    Ruislip

"Vicky is a fantastic accountant, totally dedicated to her work and is so approachable and professional. She replies to questions promptly and since she is a specialist for locum doctors I had all my tax related queries taken care of. I would love to keep her as my accountant going forwards and would thoroughly recommend her to all my doctor colleagues."

    Dr. L. Jones

  • Dr. Ali Noaman

"Highly recommended - an amazingly professional accounting service.

Vicky helped me to navigate the bumpy road of being a self-employed medic. I received continuous advice around the clock from before starting the work and thereafter.

I believe this is a great investment of my money."

You've alleviated so much stress and worry for me recently, thank again Vicky." (www.samsolutions247.com)
